The incident prevention and the response mechanism group is holding a meeting in the Gali district, Abkhazia, Georgia, where the topical issue will be the murder of two young Georgians, Koba Jgharkava and Irakli Badakhava, who were forcefully conscripted to the so-called Abkhazian army.
The two tried to escape but the Russians detained both of them and tortured to death. The boys were found hung on the trees in Ochamchire in a few days after conscription. Experts said they had traces of torture on the bodies.
Other issues, which are on the agenda of the working group, are the problem of travelling for civilians across the boundary line, violation of human rights and the criminal situation in the breakaway region.
