Constitutional Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested the head of the Health Care Ministry Samegrelo Regional Centre of Social Service Agency, Davit Gakharia and the employ of the same office Gela Nchkebia. The officers of the local branch of the Liberty Bank, Vakhtang Chitaia, Varlam Sakhuria, Leila Mikava, Fridon Chitaia, Bezhan Papava have been also arrested for involvement in the machinations, by which the detainees embezzled 95,000 GEL from the pension funds.
The suspects may face 11- year sentence. The CSD is investigating the crime.
