Discussions on Constitutional amendments carry on. The Parliament of Georgia will ratify the Draft Constitutional Law on Amendments and Changes to the Constitution this week.
The date of ballot will be agreed at a bureau sitting today.
The Draft Constitutional Law on Amendments, which significantly weakens the president's authority and strengthens the prime minister's status, had been worked out for almost a year.
