Levan Bezhashvili, Chairman of Georgia's Chamber of Control will present the 2009 annual report to the Georgian lawmakers today.
According to the report, the Chamber of Control carried out about 250 audits in various state institutions, and revealed more than 1 thousand violations.
The violations mainly refer to purchases, un-purposeful expenditure of funds and incorrect management. The Georgian Main Prosecutor's Office arrested 24 state officials based on Control Chamber's conclusion.
