Constantine Gamsakhurdia, leader of political party "Tavisupleba" (Liberty) will return to the Parliament. He declared this in the exclusive interview to the newspaper "Verisia" (version).
"Following from the conducted consultations and based on the private opinion, I decided to return to Parliament and to restore my MP empowering, "- Gamsakhurdia said.
He as well said that, he will enter the Parliamentary Commission for investigation of the facts of death causes of Zviad Gamsakhurdia. He may as well work under the elections code in the Parliamentary committee.
"I am going to work actively under the questions of illegal prisoners, prisoners of conscience and under the questions interesting for the society, "- Gamsakhurdia said .
Before taking this decision for return to the Parliament he was consulted in EU and USA.
"In the beginning of the September I was in Europe and in USA. I was interested in its opinion about my possible return to Parliament. I was interested as well in opinion of my party activists and the opinion of the Patriarchy of Georgia. I wish that my decision would be appropriate to the existing political situation. And as well I did not wish that my decision would be known for the society beforehand. It is not well to promise something and to be able to do it, "- Gamsakhurdia said.
He said that after undergoing the necessary procedures probably he will return to the legislative organ in the mid of the November.
