US President Barrack Obama's supporter was detained by Secret Service after he threw a paperback book at the president during a rally in Philadelphia Sunday.
The unnamed man was released without charge after Secret Service deemed him to be not a threat to the president and that he merely wanted Obama to read the book that he had written.
The book did not hit the president, whose back was turned to the aspiring author during the incident, as reported by www.torontosun.com.
At the same event, 24-year-old Juan Rodriguez was arrested after he striped naked at the rally in an attempt to win $1 million from Internet billionaire Alki David. The British entrepreneur offered the money to anyone who streaked in front of the president to promote his site.
David told New York Daily News that he is reviewing the footage to see if Rodriguez earned the cash prize.
