The Georgian parliament postponed the approval of new constitution of Georgia for three days. The decision was made upon the request of the parliamentary oppositional "Christian-Democratic Movement" (CDM) Party.
More than 10 amendments have been made in total to the draft project through the agreement reached between the ruling party and opposition during the first and second hearings of the plenary session.
Discussions about the Constitutional amendments have been underway in parliament for already two months.
The process was preceded by meetings with international experts, opposition and representatives of civil society.
