The13th round of internationally mediated Geneva talks will be held today. The Georgian side will raise two main issues - new conception of security and IDPs' return to their homes.
Russia, Tskhinvali and Sokhumi separatist regimes plan to raise issue of signing a document on non-use of force and fire. The Georgian government is reluctant to sign the aforesaid document with the puppet regimes. Tskhinvali regime will also raise issue of searching for the missing Ossetian citizens.
The Georgian delegation will be headed by Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs Giga Bokeria. Head of the Analytical Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Shota Utiashvili, Chairperson of the Abkhazian Autonomic Republic Giorgi Baramia and representatives of former South Ossetian autonomic district are also members of the Georgian delegation.
Russian delegation is headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigory Karasin and Tskhinvali delegation is headed by so called President's representative in post conflict regulation issues Boris Chochiev.
Abkhazian delegation will be presumably headed by so called president's special representative Vyacheslav Chirikba.
Co-chairmen of Geneva Talks are special representatives of EU, OSCE and UN Secretary General - Pier Morel, Bulat Nurgaliev and Antti Turunen. US delegation also takes part in the negotiations.
