Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili visited one of the most popular restaurants in Mtskheta on the Day of Svetitskhovloba and Mtskhetoba and awarded the restaurant management with a new special diploma. The Salobie has been awarded with the status of the People`s Restaurant.
President said the Restaurant Salobie was the best example of successful business for 45 years, which maintained high quality of dishes and low prices, thus becoming affordable for any social layer.
President thanked the restaurant management and its staff for successful work.
Mikheil Saakashvili also invited inmates of Dzegvi and Saguramo children`s homes to the Salobie Restaurant. About 60 children tasted the delicious dishes at the restaurant.
