Prosecutor`s Office of Georgia has conducted a special operation after revealing one of the most large-scale corruption scheme in Georgia during the past decade - two Jewish businessmen, Ronnie Fooks and Zeev Frenkiel have been detained at one of the restaurants in Batumi, Adjara, after a special operation carried out in cooperation with the Constitutional Security Department,
According to the investigation, the businessmen were offering seven million dollar to the deputy minister of finance not to appeal the court ruling, according to which the government of Georgia was charged to pay 100 million dollar to the Fooks Company.

The case arguably refers to corruption schemes, which worked during the previous government of Georgia. That time authorities granted an exclusive licence to the company Tramex of unintelligible origin to obtain oil in Georgia. The current scheme of corruption is arguably tied with the series of corruption activities launched many years ago.
