The Russia is withdrawing its military forces from Perevi, the village which has been occupied since the August 2008 Georgian-Russian war.
The village is near the breakaway South Ossetia's administrative borders. The First checkpoint has been already left by forces.
Some Russian soldiers are still stationed at bordering checkpoint in Perevi. They are still checking the documentations of the citizens.
Locals say that after leaving the village the occupation forces will be deployed in the new checkpoint in the vicinity of Kardzmani village's bridge.
The decision about Russian army's pullout was made at the13th round of internationally mediated Geneva talks held on October 14.
