Differences between the US and Russia still remains on various issues, Philip H. Gordon, Assistant Secretary for Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs stated when making a speech in the Hopkins University.
Gordon said the differences referred to Georgia's aspiration to become integrated into the North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
The US Assistant Secretary of State once again expressed support to Georgian authorities, and talked about the role of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in monitoring of the situation in the volatile Caucasus region.
