A new Committee has been established within the framework of the European Union-Georgia cooperation earlier this afternoon. The Committee will work on energy, transport and environment protection issues.
The EU delegation members held the first sitting in that regard at the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The sitting is very important as an agreement on a united transport space is to be signed with the EU by the end of the year, said Irakli Davitadze, head of the United Transport Department.
