During a head of state meeting, Ilham Aliyev and Viktor Yanukovych will discuss enhancing cooperation in the areas of mutual interest and will try to reach concrete agreements, primarily in trade and economic spheres.

The presidents will discuss cooperation in energy, engineering, military technologies and outer space industry.

The second meeting of the Council of Presidents of Azerbaijan and Ukraine will also be held.

Ilham Aliyev will also meet with Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn.

As UKRINFORM reported, Ukraine and Azerbaijan intend to negotiate an increase in the supply of Azeri oil to Ukraine. Earlier, Azerbaijan declared its readiness to cooperate with Ukraine in the supply of liquefied natural gas.
