A wife and a husband were found suffocated of CO in the city of Telavi, Kakheti, late last night. Luiza Tsertsvadze, 65, and her husband Elberdi Guruli, 71, died of CO, which presumable leaked from faulty gas water heater.
The neighbours called for the emergency when they felt the smell of gas, but the two were dead when the brigade arrived. There was one young girl in the house, when the tragedy occurred; doctors say she was unconscious when they arrived, but the first aid and the further treatment in the hospital helped her recover soon.
The dead were taken to morgue. The medical examination will set the reasons of death.
