Head of the European Commission Delegation Per Eklund leaves Georgia today. The EU official held the farewell meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mr. Grigol Vashadze.
The sides discussed the topical issues in the relations of the EU and Georgia and the prospects of development of cooperation within the Eastern Partnership program.
Per Eklund approved the dynamics in the EU-Georgia relations and announced that the cooperation should be enhanced in order to speed up the process of integration into the EU.
