Political scientist Ramaz Sakvarelidze believes that the absurd situation is created by the suggestion by opposition parties of improvement of elections environment to the government.

"The elections environment is bad because such environment is convenient for someone, probably for the government, to remain in the power. If it wished to change something in this direction, it would change by own initiative. Deriving from this the suggestion of opposition is a paradox situation. I do not believe that only this initiative will be enough for such type of changes. I think that the improvement of the elections environment may happen by the involvement of the international community in this process more actively or by the demand of the population, "- Sakvarelidze said to GHN in response to the declarations made today by opposition parties that wished to start negotiations with the government on improvement of elections environment.

In this context political scientist said that the government will not, make any changes in its decisions according to which it tailored the elections environment for own favor, only for sake of the opposition initiative.
