Implementation of the newly approved National Curriculum will be launched on September 15, 2011. At the initial level, new National Curriculum will be introduced at the first level (I-VI forms). Changes will be developed at the second and the third levels from 2012.
In line with the development of the new National Curriculum at schools, all approved textbooks will be abolished automatically and the books will be approved according to the new approval regulation.
MES announced competition for the textbooks of I-VI forms according to the new approval regulation. The competition will last till March. The competition for the textbooks of VII-XII forms will be announced in November, 2011.
