Georgian president`s press speaker Manana Manjgaladze has commented on the recent social surveys carried out by various international organizations in Georgia. Manana Manjgaladze said all recent surveys have proved the high index of confidence of Georgian population to the political course of the government.
`We should highlight several points, first of all, the attitude of Georgian population to the political course of the government. The surveys showed that the trust to the government is 62% and the 74% of the respondents support the aspiration of the government to join NATO. This is a very serious number especially prior to the Lisbon Summit of the Alliance,` Manana Manjgaladze said.
She also added that the high indexes did not give the illusion to the government and that the authorities were aware of all topical problems, on which the work of the government was focused.
