Expert of the Forensic Expertise Bureau has been arrested in suspicion of bribery. According to the investigation, expert Merab Gakhokia extorted 600 GEL from a citizen for issuing a counterfeit conclusion of the medical expertise. The Ministry of Justice has released the report regarding the crime.
`The investigation has found out that he [Gakhokia] tried to extort 600GEL from a citizen for issuing a desired conclusion of medical examination. Gakhokia has been already sent to custody under pre-trial sentence. The crime envisages imprisonment for nine years,` the head of the foreign relations department of the ministry, Nana Raphava has told journalists.
