euronews/The Greek authorities have suspended all air mail shipments and sending packages abroad pending extensive checks after a wave of parcel bombs aimed at foreign targets.
The latest suspect parcel was found in Bologna on board a courier flight from Athens.

Earlier in the day a parcel bomb addressed to German Chancellor Angela Merkel was sent to her offices in Berlin.
Germany's Interior Minister, Thomas de Maziere said : "The investigators' initial assessment showed that it was an explosive device, which not only had a Greek sender, but was sent from Greece two days ago."

In all there have been 14 suspected bombs - two have gone off outside the Swiss and Russian embassies in Athens while Greek police have intercepted several others before leaving the city, making them safe with controlled explosions.
In general, foreign embassies have been targeted along with Europol and the European Court of Justice.

Two men have been arrested in connection with Monday's parcel bombings - one of which was addressed to the French President, Nicholas Sarkozy. Greek leftist groups are suspected of planning the bombing campaign.
