Mikhail Brodsky, head of the State Committee of the Ukrainian policy of regulation and manufacturing estimates positively the experience of customs legislative reforms in Georgia. He said in the Eastern Europe the biggest success in customs reforms Bulgaria and Georgia achieved.
"The first step in Bulgaria was a replacement of the personnel in the Customs. The staff question was a deciding one. I think we will not replace all staff and do not invite personnel from UK as it was done in Bulgaria, but we have 10 percent of custom officers replaced. Now we need to cut the stuff and to raise salaries for them," - Brodsky said. Mikhail Brodsky considers that in view of legislative perfection Georgia has made a big step forward, that experience will be important for Ukraine to share.
