Chairperson of Gori Arbitrary Court has been detained with charges of taking bribe by officers of the Constitutional Security Department of Georgian Foreign Ministry.
Natia Makharashvili was discussing the case between two citizens regarding the money indebtedness. The arbitrary court chairperson delivered the verdict in favour of the citizen, which offered the larger amount of cash as a bribe. Natia Makharashvili was caught red-handed while accepting Gel 700 as a bribe.
If considered guilty, the detainee may face 9-year imprisonment. The investigation is being conducted by the Constitutional Security Department of Georgian Foreign Ministry.
