Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex (Edward Antony Richard Louis) arrived to Georgia today on November 4. He will take a part in an official ceremony of opening of the UK Embassy in Georgia, GHN reports.

He will meet with representatives of Georgian government and the British Embassy. Judith Haft, UK Envoy to Georgia said the visit is very special.

"I am very glad that HE Prince Edward will attend the ceremony of opening of the embassy. Our new building is a clear example of the special attention of the Georgian people to our relationships. HE Prince will be introduced with our cooperation including the political cooperation, cultural, commercial and investing activity. The Embassy will continue to work in this direction for deepening of our bilateral relations," - Envoy noted. The visit will be accomplished on November 5.
