The official visit of Iran`s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki to Georgia continues. The Iranian senior diplomat will arrive in Batumi, Adjara Region today and attend the opening ceremony of Iran`s General Consulate. Later today, Mr. Mottaki will be hosted by the president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.
Iranian Minister arrived in Georgia yesterday. The two countries have already signed agreement of visa free regime and the document will be brought into force after the parliament of Georgia ratifies it.
According to the agreement, the citizens of the two countries will enjoy 45-day visa free regime.
