The Tbilisi City Court today will discuss the case of Eldar Davitiani, husband of one of the detained Georgian women in Malaysia Babutsa Gordadze, about sentencing him to 2-month preliminary imprisonment.
The Georgian police detained Eldar Davitiani, after he gave a testimony on November 5 through a 13-hour-long interrogation.
Davitiani arrived in Tbilisi from Turkey late on November 4. Presumably, his testimony included important details into the case through which it is possible that the detained women avert the death penalty.
