Tomorrow in Malaysia on accusation of drug abuse Darejan Kokhtashvili's court hearing will be held. Two Georgian citizens Darejan Kokhtashvili and Babutsa Gordadze are detained for the illegal crossing of the border in Malaysia and for the drug traffic.
Gordadze is already sentenced by the Malaysian court. Two Georgian citizens will be under Amnesty International's protection in the court trial.
Georgia has no diplomatic representation in Malaysia, so Grigol Katamadze, envoy of Georgia to Ukraine is conducting the negotiations with Malaysian Embassy over Ukraine.
The Georgian side asked about the mediation in this case Manuchar Mothaki, Iranian Foreign Minister being with visit in Tbilisi occasionally. According to the Malaysian legislation the drug abuse stipulates death penalty. Up to 50 persons in that courtly this year are already punished under this law.
