Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will attend the Danube Summit in Bucharest on November 8, the Government Information Service said. The meeting will proceed under the patronage of Romanian President Traian Basescu, informs GHN referring to BTA.
It will adopt a Declaration on the Danube Region, expressing the readiness and the support of the participating countries for the future of the EU Strategy on the Danube Region.
The first session of the summit will focus on the countries' political and economic commitments. The second session is expected to approve the above-mentioned declaration.
During his one-day visit to Bucharest, Borissov will confer with Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc and Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat.
The delegation led by Borissov will include Regional Development and Public Works Minister Rosen Plevneliev.
