A special event dedicated to Georgian wine was held at the embassy of Georgia in the United States. Foreign Diplomats and wine makers were invited to the event, which was accompanied by a photo exhibition about Georgia.
The author of the photos was an American photographer Jim Melor, who took the photos during his last visit to Georgia in September. There were the photos of unique species of Georgian vines.
An American resident of Sighnaghi, Kakheti Region, and John Woderman exposed his wine produced in Georgia at the event.
A Georgian national folk band Zedashe performed national folk songs at the end of the event.
