Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini, together with the schoolchildren of the secondary classes attended the screening of the documentary film Soviet History, at Public School ?„–181.
Film of Latvian Director Edwin Schnore was presented in the scope of Civic Education program. Details of cooperation between Nazism and Soviet regime that were unknown before the present were reflected in the film.
Exclusive photos of Hitler's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffman as well as materials about the secret information of Nazis that were obtained in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany were used in the film.
According to Dimitri Shashkini, everyone and particularly youth should see this film in order to know the truth about the Soviet regime and Nazism.
By the initiative of MES, the film screening will be held in all schools of Georgia.
