Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini, together with the schoolchildren of the secondary classes attended the screening of the documentary film Soviet History, at Public School ???????181 today.
Film of Latvian Director Edwin Schnore was presented in the scope of Civic Education program. Details of cooperation between Nazism and Soviet regime that were unknown before the present were reflected in the film.
The film shooting lasted during 2 years in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Germany, France, Britain and Belgium.
Premiere of the Soviet History was held in Euro Parliament in the previous year and was broadly responded.
According to Dimitri Shashkini, everyone and particularly youth should see this film in order to know the truth about the Soviet regime and Nazism.
By the initiative of MES, the film screening will be held in all schools of Georgia.
