Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has taken into consideration the interests of vehicle owners after setting new standards of vehicle glass tinting and modified the standards two days before they are brought into force. Restrictions on tinted glasses of the vehicles prohibit tinting of windshield; side windows are allowed to be tinted up to 40 percent; there are no restrictions on tinting of rear window. Owners of the vehicle are allowed to tint the rear window in accordance with their desire.
Violation of the above-mentioned rules is subject to the fine with 50 GEL.
