Paata Zakareishvili, political scientist declared that the information about the worsening of the situation in Pankisi valley is disseminated by Russian Federation.
Zakareishvili said to GHN that Russia wants to show to the international community, as if Georgia is not able to keep control over the Pankisi.
According to the expert the disseminated information is not truth and at this moment in Pankisi the situation is very calm.
"The information as if the situation in Pankisi is getting worse, is disseminated by Russian Federation. Russia wants to show to the international community that in Pankisi the situation is getting worse and the Georgian government is not able to keep control over the valley. In fact nothing happen in Pankisi, here is absolute peacefulness. The information is not truth, " - Paata Zakareishvili said to GHN.
