Georgian prime minister discussed results of the government`s work by the end of 2010 and the next year`s priorities with employees of garment factory in Navtlugi district of Tbilisi on Wednesday.
Nikoloz Gilauri said at the meeting, that the government`s main priority still remains creating new jobs. The government will also continue working on regulating prices of food products, including bread price, therefore, additional supplies of grains will be imported into Georgia from Ukraine. The prime minister said, the government at the same time continues working on finding alternate sources of grains supplies.
"We underwent a lot of very tough problems in a very short period. All the problems - political and social - the country face during the last two-three years, are not so easy to endure for any economy.
"Creating jobs was and remains the man purpose and problem of our society. The government`s main priority is creating the environment that would be comfortable for developing private business", Nikoloz Gilauri said.
