Tetraskhevi Mountain in Tianeti and National Park in Ckhvarichamia are also on fire. The efforts to bring the flames under control are already underway. However, the works are impeded by difficult geographic location.

The fire is also raging in Kazbegi. It spread from the Sno Gorge, spread on the Koselta and Karkucha gorges; locals are involved in the fire fighting works. A rescue team is mobilized at the disaster scene.

The fire which broke out in Akhalgori invaded territory is impossible to bring under control either. A forest near Kanchaveti village is on fire. There is a threat that the flames extend across the military base of the Russian occupation forces.

The brigades of Interior Ministry have joined fire-fighting works in the Baghdati district, Imereti Region; they are fighting the disaster from helicopters to localize the fire, which has already burnt down 17 hectares of woods.
