NATO continues demonstrate firm support to Georgia`s sovereignty and territorial integrity and does not recognize independence of its breakaway Abkhazia and South Ossetia - Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Secretary General of the North-Atlantic Treaty Organization stated during a interview with newspaper "Gzeta Viborcha".
Rasmussen defined that support to Georgia`s independence and sovereignty should not shadow the fact that the positions of the Russian Federation and the Alliance regarding the threats of terrorism, drug smuggling, Afghanistan problem, anti-missile strategies and piracy coincide each other.
