Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili inspected Sataplia Tourist and Scientific Center in Kutaisi, Imereti region, earlier this afternoon.
The reconstructed Sataplia preserve will be opened in the nearest future. New lighting systems are installed in caves. Tourists will see a dinosaur footprint kept inside. A café, restaurant and a hotel will function in the premises.
A glass showcase is also arranged above the preserve from which the tourists can see Kutaisi sightseeing sites, Gelati Monastery and a park territory.
The park was restored with the financial support of BP Company. The works cost about 7 million GEL and were launched one year ago.
Georgia's President also laid the foundation of construction of government's building in Kutaisi earlier today.
After that Saakashvili observed completion of the first-stage reconstruction works of the Kutaisi Opera and Ballet Theater.
