Gabriela Hamsburg-Lotringen is to be appointed as new envoy to Germany. President suggested this candidature for Parliament. Yesterday on the bureau session this question was initiated.
Gabriela Hamsburg-Lotringen was born in 1956 in Luxemburg, however she is a citizen of Georgia. It is not known were will be appointed the acting envoy to Germany - Levan Duchidze. As well it is not known the reasons, why the envoy to Germany is to be replaced.
It is notable that the powers of Duchidze as an envoy is not expired yet, however according to the law President has the right to replace the envoy by his own decision, without Parliament's approval.
