The consultations between representatives of the Georgian government and opposition over improvement of election environment will resume today.
The meeting will start at 15:00 at the Central Electoral Committee.
Last week parliamentary meeting made decision to hold weekly meetings every Wednesday.
International organizations and NGOs that monitor elections will also be involved in consultations.
Moreover, it was agreed that the result of the process should be a new electoral code.
Georgia's Parliamentary Speaker Davit Bakradze proposed opposition to start negotiations over the issue several months ago. Opposition confirmed its readiness to take part in the dialogue, what was positively assessed by the government.
A total of 8 opposition parties to hold consultations with the government over election environment are ‘New Rightists', ‘Christian Democrat Movement, ‘Free Democrats', ‘National Forum', ‘Georgian Way', ‘People's Party', ‘Conservative Party' and ‘Republican Party'.
