The international conference "unknown nations, the Continuing crimes in North Caucasus" was held in the Sheraton Metekhi Palace in Tbilisi.
The organizations of the event are the Jamestown Foundation and Ilia State University.
Representatives of about 15 Caucasus autonomous republics attended a conference. The meeting focused on the threats and challenges, the Northern Caucasus are facing to in regional stability issue.
The experts also discussed several issues - including the Georgia's policy toward the North Caucasus republics, the facts of human rights protection in Chechnya, the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, as well as the future relationship between Russia and North Caucasus.
