Nestan Kirtadze, one of the leaders of the Labor Party summarizing the visit to France said it was very fruitful. She visited France on 14-20 November. On November 15-16 she participated in the sitting of the Socialistic Council's sitting at the headquarters of the European Development and Cooperation Fund. The sitting was attended by Social-Democratic, Labor and Socialistic parties from all over the world, political leaders of this direction.
The bilateral meetings were held in the frames of the congress and the foundations were laid down for the future relations of the Labor Party with the political leaders of Europe and other countries, with the MPs of European Parliament. They will prepare the hearing in the nearest future for the Georgian question.
Despite the speech of Georgian President Mikhail Sakashvili was held already at European Parliament, the EP socialistic fraction is interested to get exact information about Georgia, about the real situation in the human rights violations, freedom of media, freedom of business, social equality and the state unity. Probably Nestan Kirtadze will be invited to take a floor on these issues.
French Socialistic Party hosted in its headquarters leaders of Socialist Council sitting. This event is very important for the for Georgian Labor Party for the inclusion in the international structures and for the support and development of the democracy in Georgia.
In the frames of the visit Nestan Kirtadze hold meetings with the heads of departments of the Continental Europe and as well with the South Caucasus department head. The open and frank dialogue was held about the current political processes in Georgia and those questions that are of importance for the population.
