The membership of Ukraine to NATO may provoke the disbalance of forces on the European continent, Dmitry Medvedev, RF President said.
"We always have had a simple position towards the membership of Ukraine to NATO: this could destroy the European security space, this is a sensitive point for us, "- Medvedev said in the joint press conference with Ukrainian President Viktor Janukovich.
He noted he is fully contended with the present political course of Ukraine that is the cooperation without affiliation to NATO.
