The Georgian side passed proofs for the innocence of Georgian women detained in Malaysia for drug abuse. The Department of the Law of Georgian Procurator's Office General declared the Malaysian Court is given papers proving its innocence among them the confession of husband of one of the women. To be noted detained women are not admitting guilt. They said are victims of the crime. They are refusing they knew about their being used as a drugs transporters. Detained persons are kept in good conditions in the prison. The Georgian delegation returned from Malaysia tree days ago.
For information, two Georgian women were detained by Malaysian lawenforcers with drug abuse allegation that stipulates by Malaysian law a death sentence. They are already in the prison for 40 days. By the local law the final judgment is for the King of the country after the Court decision. He has a right to pardon deathsentenced. 120 people are already sentenced in Malaysia under this law.
