Genetically modified products are not dangerous for health. Peter Tsiskarishvili, leader of the Parliamentary majority said they are not dangerous, as such products are presented in the market of USA and other European countries.
"It is well known that in USA and in Europe the goods presenting danger for health will not be in the markets for sale. So, if such products were dangerous they would not be presented on the market, "- Tsiskarishvili said.
"When we were working on the Bill we take into consideration the interests of the entrepreneurs and consumers. Consumers have a right to have information about the products they buying. This was a reason for prolongation of the Bill passing, "- Peter Tsiskarishvili said. He noted that it is very important to implement the governmental decree as it is in the state interests in economic as well in international relations.
