Political scientist Mamuka Areshidze discusses 3 versions of the terroristic acts in Georgia.
"The question arises, why all terroristic acts committed on Georgian territory were ineffective. I can identify 3 versions: the explosions were of warning nature - Russia warns us that it can do more; the second reason may be the terroristic act performers were nonprofessionals and were afraid of something; third reason - it is not excluded that Russia is preparing for the bigger terroristic actions, "- Areshidze said to GHN.
He said that no wander that the Russian General choose namely town Gali dwellers for taking performers for explosions. "The fact of using dwellers form occupied territories is a historic fact. I can say this is a ideological pressure aimed to the detachment of Samegrelo region form Georgia, seems like they were successful, "- Areshidze said.
