Illia II, his Holliness and Beautitude, Cathalicos Patriarch of all Georgia resigned from the post of the Rector of Ecclesiastical Academy, the news agency GHN reports.
He declared: "I cannot devote much time for the Academy."
New Rector of Academy will be Giorgi Zviadadze, arch presbyter, vice Rector of the Academy.
