According to Georgian statistics in the third quarter of the 2010 in Georgia the amount of direct foreign investments reached USD 160 mn. This is for 7 percent less than in previous years. The most part of investments were made in financial sector in transport and real estate, in the energy sector the investments were of 10 percent only.
