The government has prolonged in second time the terms for the entering of applications for construction of hotels in the Qobulety tourist zone for potential investors. They will be obliged to fulfill the obligations in 15 month but not for the 2011 August 1. According to the agreement between government and investor, investor is obliged to lay a foundation for the hotel in 4 month; after this in 6 month period he is obliged to construct the building and in the following 5 month to accomplish all decorations for to be ready for functioning. According to the agreement if the investor will not follow the terms scheduled for 15 month total, then the government can give an additional 3 month for the accomplishment of the construction works. In case if investor will not be able to fulfill obligations in 18 month, then government will impose sanctions to this investor.

For information, Georgian governmental Commission detected 8 investors, who will construct 15 hotels. The construction works started already.
