The representatives of the Parliamentary fraction of Christian Democrats are calling to recognize a governmental decree about the occupied territories as void, GHN reports.
Nika Laliashvili, representative of the fraction said the decree No 320 that was passed on October 15 about the occupied territories is contrary to the legislation and to the state strategy.
"The decree that was approved by the government about the occupied territories is contrary to the legislation and practically is totally inconsistent with the present legislation and as well with the state strategy. This document broadens the unlawful circle of activity that is already determined by the law on "Occupied Territories", "- Laliashvili said.
At the same time MP said the decree controls the activity of NGOs at the occupied territories. "This is inadmissible as the law is a document of higher rank then the decree of the government. I am asking you to recognize this decree as void, "- Laliashvili said
