The membership of Ukraine and Georiga to NATO will not make any danger for Russian Federation. This one more declaration in support of Georiga was made by David Milliband, UK Foreign Minister. He was interviewed by the Russian media - the "Ruski Nyusvik" a day before his visit to Moscow.
Milliband said that the doors of NATO are open for the countries which are sharing the basic values of NATO. He said that the decision taken in the NATO ministerial will help to Ukraine and Georiga to carry out the reforms.
"NATO actively works under the governmental program of both candidate countries and under the political reforms. I cannot see any danger for Russian Federation in that, "- David Milliband said. He noted that the Heidi Tagliavini fact-finding comission's conclusion did not affect the position of UK in connection with the August war.
"Our position is the same. Georiga made mistakes, but the response of Russian Federation was not proportionate. The Russian force used, cause the broadening of the geographical area of the conflict and the military actions scale increased. Russia breached the territorial integrity of Georiga and this may not be justified, "- Milliband said.
He said that so called S.O. and Abkhazia will not be recognized by UK.
